Fullerton Rotary Club Service Above Self Scholarship

Funds for this scholarship are made available to recipients who demonstrate a strong passion for supporting their community. They live by Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self” in their volunteerism.

Scholarship Value - $2,000

Scholarship Applicant Criteria

• Senior students actively involved with community service (Active involvement in Interact preferred) at Fullerton Union High School or Sunny Hills High School

• 3.0 GPA minimum

• Attending nationally accredited college or university or nationally accredited vocational school full time in the 2025-2026 school year

Application Documents

• Letter of introduction from applicant outlining community service work

• Verification of high school GPA from school (January of current school year)

• Copy of preferred college or vocational school acceptance

• Confirmation of membership from Interact President, if applicable

• Letter of recommendation from Counselor, Teacher or Administrator

• Verification of community service hours

Applications will be accepted through April 30th, 2025 and reviewed for award prior to graduation. Two students from each school will be chosen (College & Vocational). Winners will be notified prior to graduation. Funds will be disbursed on receipt of completed registration at the institution of choice. For any questions please reach out to:
